Our core business is mobile communications. We employ advanced technologies to ensure MTS customers have the highest quality customer experience wherever they may be. We offer a range of tariff plans adapted to suit each regional market and meet the demands of our individual and corporate clients. With the expansion of our 3G and 4G/LTE networks, we have seen a sharp increase in consumption of mobile internet services and wireless data, which drives economic and social growth in regions throughout Russia and the CIS.
Our fixed-line services include home telephony, broadband internet and pay-TV services in Moscow and different regions throughout Russia. MTS ranks among the top-3 broadband access providers and top-5 pay-TV operators in Russia. In Moscow, we continue to promote the benefits of our superior GPON (Gigabyte Passive Optical Network) technology, which allows our customers to enjoy the fastest internet and the highest-quality TV services while also maintaining our leadership in residential broadband market in the largest city in Europe.

Global financial services and telecommunications increasingly complement one another, as FinTech represents a truly market-changing opportunity by driving adoption and increasing affinity. Since 2011, MTS has offered financial services to both individual and corporate clients. The MTS e-wallet provides customers with an easy and convenient way to manage the majority of their day-to-day financial needs by allowing customers to use their smartphone or device to pay for a variety of products and services. Our FinTech offering, however, goes far beyond simple transactions; in cooperation with MTS Bank, we have developed a suite of complex financial products to satisfy our customers’ banking needs including cash management solutions, payroll services, and overdraft and loan programs.
Although our roots are in traditional telecommunications, we are working to expand basic telecommunications services beyond access and connectivity. We provide individuals with the technology to sustain their digital lifestyles, and we work actively to help other businesses go digital. We provide cloud computing services #CloudMTS, offer data analysis tools, based on Big Data, cybersecurity systems, intelligent IoT solutions for B2B clients. We are actively developing our own digital ecosystem, which includes the market-leading My MTS self help app, mobile music, mobile TV and video-on demand. We also own one of the world’s leading eSport clubs. And we are continuously expanding our menu of digital services through strategic acquisitions, imaginative partnerships and innovative in-house development. Our MTS online shop serves as a digital sales channel and a single marketplace for all MTS products.
