MTS Increases Stake in Gulfstream to 100%

MOSCOW, Russia – Mobile TeleSystems Public Joint Stock Company (“MTS” or “the Company”) (MOEX: MTSS), a digital ecosystem, leading provider of digital and media services and Russia’s largest mobile operator, announces the acquisition of a 41.62% stake in Gulfstream Security Systems JSC, Russia’s largest provider of security services and smart home solutions for individuals and businesses, as well the completion of the reorganization of its Smart Home business vertical.

MTS acquired a 58.38% stake in Gulfstream Security Systems in April 2022. As a result of the latest deal, MTS increased its stake in the company to 100%. MTS also completed the reorganization of its Smart Home business vertical in order to consolidate Gulfstream Group’s assets and projects related to security and integration of digital systems for home and office management within MTS Smart Home LLC. The former owner of Gulfstream Security Systems JSC, Veniamin Pisman, became a minority shareholder and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of MTS Smart Home LLC.
